Ocean House Now Open
The Ocean House reopened its doors this past June in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. This grand resort overlooks the Atlantic Ocean on the New England coast. After 136 years of providing luxurious accommodations in a Victorian setting, the Ocean House was forced to close its doors in 2003 due to its age. At a cost of $140 million the resort has been painstakingly restored to its original splendor. It was carefully taken apart in order to preserve its rich historical features such as its warm yellow facade. It was traditional for families to summer at the seaside resort to bond and enjoy each other. It is the goal of the resort to reestablish this tradition as well as creating a place for guests to build year-round memories.
